Glass Bottom Boat Lyrics

Glass Bottom Boat

(c) 2013, Lyrics by Amy and Jason Didner, Music by Jason Didner

Let’s ride in a glass bottom boat
Our aquarium that floats
Let’s rock these orange vests, here we go
I wonder what we’ll see down below

Sunfish and bass swim into view
Here comes a catfish gliding through
You might not have to look too far
To see a pointy, long-nosed gar

This place is fish reception hall
Who knows if we can count them all
The backdrop here is mighty swell
A bed of ancient fossil shells

Let’s ride in a glass bottom boat
Our aquarium that floats
You rock that orange vest, here we go
I’ll bet there’s more to see down below

A shallow spring is up ahead
There’s crawfish digging in the river bed
And the shrimp go paddling with their tails
Showing off for the belly-crawling snails

The river banks have more to see
A gator waits beneath a tree
And if you’re taking video
A monkey might make a cameo

Let’s ride in a glass bottom boat
Our aquarium that floats
We learned so much and saw quite a show
A river teeming with life down below

We learned so much and saw quite a show
A river teeming with life down below
